Carbon Art boards are guaranteed to be constructed as per their design specifications.

• This means that you can be 100% sure that your board will perform exactly as the designers intended it to - for absolute optimum performance.

How can we be so sure that each and every board will be exactly right?

Because of the way we construct our boards:

• Hand-built Quality.
  Each Carbon Art board is hand-built in New Zealand by a team of dedicated board builders, shapers and surfers who have been formally trained to use the Carbon Art production system.
• Laminating Technology.
  All Carbon Art boards are built using our unique epoxy composite sandwich construction technology. Our process ensures the ideal cloth-to-resin ratio for maximum strength and balanced weight performance. The laminate construction means your board will continue to perform at its peak for a long time to come.
• Flex Pattern tuning.
  We don't mass produce pop out boards. Carbon Art boards can be individually tuned to the surfer (we aren't all the same!). For those after a customized flex we offer the custom option of a stiffer or softer ride.
• Advanced Vacuum Technology.
  Our advanced systems process allows us to lock in the rocker shape during creation of the board for complete accuracy and 100% memory shape retention. Other epoxy board brands use a free floating vacuum bag that allows for movement and a deforming of the rocker shape and subsequent sanding and weakening of the sandwich composite. We don't.
• Tight tolerances.
  Carbon Arts production system demands for extremely high quality. Outline tolerance of +/-1mm, Rocker tolerance of +/-0.5mm and weight +/-3%.
  Design criteria is continually checked through the entire construction process for each individual board. We don't skimp on the details.
• Future Fins.
  All Carbon Art surfboards use the Future Fins system. The strength and technology behind the fin system combines perfectly with our boards and our demand for excellence.
• US.
  No not some made up acronym, it's just us! We care about what we're making and what we send out the door to you. It's important to us that what you get in your hands is of the highest standard possible
